The 20th Anniversary of the dedication of the Enlightenment Stupa was celebrated on May 30 at Pal Karma Dorje Dzingpa Ling in Northern California. Chanting of the Stupa Sutra and Avalokitesvara Sutra was followed by circumambulating the Stupa and food Offerings for the animals who reside near the Stupa. A delicious vegetarian meal was served to everyone before returning home.
While at the Stupa site, the attendees were able to view the newly constructed Dorje Palmo Memorial and the recently installed columbarium. Completion of the Memorial is slated for later this summer with installation of the double doors and finish work. Mingyur Rinpoche has agreed to dedicate the Memorial when he visits in the summer of 2022.
