In late October, members of the Yongey Buddhist Center journeyed to Tergar Osel Ling to thank Mingyur Rinpoche and resident Lamas for their prayers and services for the late Dorje Palmo. While there, they attended the annual Drupchen Puja ceremony and presented offerings on behalf of the Yongey Buddhist Center. The offerings were distributed to all the Lamas and monks in attendance and those at the Tergar Monastery in Bodhgaya.
During a break in the puja activities, the members were privileged to have lunch with Mingyur Rinpoche and discuss plans for a memorial to be built in honor of Dorje Palmo near the Stupa at Pal Karma Dorje Dzingpa Ling. Lastly, the members thank Khenpo Gyurme and Lama Cheedon for their help during the visit as well as Pradip’s family for hosting a farewell dinner with the monastery staff.
