Medicine Buddha’s birthday and our Guru Mingyur Rinpoche’s birthday were celebrated on October 29th in a special Saturday service at the Center. The celebration included chanting Calling Guru and the Medicine Buddha Sutra Mantra followed by an Animal Release of earth worms in the nearby park. A pot luck lunch was later served to everyone participating in the birthday event.
